Do I have to order breakfast? No. A delicious Full English Breakfast is available for £14.95 in our restaurant. We also offer Continental Breakfast for £7.95 and bar breakfasts (e.g. bacon bap, sausage, and egg bap, etc) are also available. If you're a resident, add on breakfast to your room rate at check-in for the reduced rate of £9.95 per person.

Do I have to eat in the restaurant? We offer room service, you are also able to order the restaurant menu in the bar as well as the lounge menu.

I have dietary requirements...will I be able to find something to eat? We cater for a wide range of dietary requirements and are able to remove or substitute items from dishes. If you're struggling to find something to eat on our menu's, please speak to one of the team and we will see what we can do for you. 


General information

Can I smoke in the hotel? No. However, we do offer designated smoking areas outside the hotel. There is a zero-tolerance policy on smoking or vaping inside the hotel. If you are found to have smoked or vaped in bedrooms, a £100 fine will be applied to your bill.

Do you have a lift? No. We don't have a lift at the property as most rooms are accessed by a single flight of stairs. However, if you have a disability or struggle with stairs, please highlight this to us when making your booking and we will ensure we allocate you a ground-floor room.

I've seen pictures of the front of the property and I can see you have you have disabled access? Yes, the hotel has other entrances. Please enter into the lounge bar, directly from the car park. Reception is accessible internally via a ramp. Here for a function? Our Carrington suite has it's own access, again directly from the car park. 

Do you have accessible toilets? Yes, we have two. One is located by Reception, and one in our Carrington Suite Corridor. 

Do you have baby changing facilities? We have a baby change in our Accessible toilet in the Carrington Suite Corridor. Please ask a member of the team and they will direct you. 



What time is check-in? 

3pm Onwards
Is it possible to have an early check-in? Unfortunately, we can not guarantee an early check-in. Please call the Hotel on the day before your arrival for a more informed answer. It is difficult to predict what our occupancy would be the night prior to see if bedrooms could be turned around for an early check-in on your arrival day.

What time is check out?

12pm                                                                                                                               Unless you are an IHG Rewards Club member, in which case we can extend your check out time up until 2pm, depending on availability, free of charge.

Do you have an accessible room?

We do. Please let us know your requirements when booking. Please note that the accessible room does contain a bath, not a walk-in shower. If this is unsuitable, please let us know.

Do you allow dogs?

Service dogs are allowed throughout the Hotel. Non-Service dogs are allowed in bedrooms only. There is a £20 supplement fee to have a non-service dog stay in a bedroom.

Do you offer a newspaper delivery service?

Yes, newspapers are complimentary for IHG Rewards Club members, if you are not an IHG Rewards Club Member then newspapers are charged to your invoice to be settled on departure. Please place your order with the reception staff upon check-in and they will be delivered the following morning. Please note that newspapers will be delivered to each morning unless otherwise stated.

I'm arriving late...will I still be able to check-in?

Yes. We offer a 24-hour check-in service, with Night Porter service between 23:00-07:00. Please note you will need to enter via the main reception entrance door, as our other doors are closed for your security between these hours.

Why do I need to leave a pre-authorisation at check-in?

As a security measure, we take pre-authorisations on Credit Cards only for your room rate plus £50 per night for any incidentals you wish to charge to your room. Any funds you do not use from this temporary hold of funds is released back to you when you check out. Similarly, if you exceed the amount pre-authorised, we top up the pre-authorisation during your stay. Using a debit card for a pre-authorisation can take slightly longer to release back to you which is why we will only accept credit cards for this type of transaction. If you wish to pay for your room and pay for any incidentals at the point of sale then there is no need to leave a pre-authorisation on check-in, you can settle your room rate in full and close your account for charges. Please note, if you wish to pay for your room with cash we have to take a photocopy of a valid photographic ID to keep on file.

Which card-types do you accept?

We accept Visa, Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, IHG Business Advantage. Can I have a wake-up call? Yes, let the receptionist know on the check-in and we will set an automatic call for your desired time.

What should I do if I haven't received my IHG Rewards Points for my stay?

If you are missing your Welcome Amenity Points then pleas call the Hotel Directly and we can chase them up for you. However, if you are missing your Stay Points then please follow this link: and fill in the 'Missing Points Form' and IHG will endeavor to look into this urgently.
